 Work has been really stressful lately.  Being demoted sucks. Only 3 more days and I can return to the beat.

So much to do and not a lot of time to do it.  David and I finally set the wedding date for August 1, 2008.  This means that I am going to be going crazy running around getting all of the details in place, that is if Grace can keep her nose out of it long enough for me to do that. >:( I wish that woman would stop being so nosy and domineering.

The athletes foot that Ernest gave me is finally going away. *big sigh of relief here*

I can't believe that I got it from that pompous alcoholic jerk!

Not much more to say other than I am way too tired to be doing this.

I went down on Front Street looking for Derek to get some snow, and I ran into Rebeckah! I didn't want to post this before because I was embarrased. I need to lose some weight to get in this friggin wedding dress. It's a 5 and I am a 7! Darnit. It was given to me by David's mother, and I am furious.

I am absolutely beside myself today. Not only do I have athlete's foot, but foot fungus as well! Now I have to take Lamisil on top of the other crap for my feet. That little Lamisil monster gives me nightmares. This is so embarrasing. I just can't stand to even think about it.

I am off work for another hour or so.

I am so disgusted! I caught athletes foot from Ernest while showering at David's last weekend! That Ernest is the napiest creature on the face of the earth. How David and Diane can stand to have him around I will never know. He is such an inbred deadbeat vulgar mouthed sloth.

Now I have to go see a podiatrist.

Last night David finally asked me to marry him! I have a nice new marquis cut diamond ring! I am so happy! It was so romantic how he got down on one knee and proposed to me in my house witih candlelights and champagne. I am in heaven!

Why didn't anyone tell me that horseback riding can be painful? Jesus christ that woman is insane taking me all over hells half acres, All david did was sit around and talk business with a neighbor while I had the crap knocked out of me when I fell off the horse.. It was quite the afternoon.

Then we ended up playing tennis all afternoon where she anhilated me and constantly screamed at me for missing the ball.

I never knew how competetive his mother was until today.

Then the dinner was horrendous. We ate caviar and sushi. I thought I was going to vomit it was so bad.

I've never been so mortified in all of my life. I am so glad to be home with David cooking popcorn for movie night.

Today I went back to work and found myself temporarily demoted to desk jockey for the time being, which means I am off the beat. I won't be getting any cut in pay, just duty for the time being. This means I take calls at my desk for crime check for 30 days.

I can't believe this. I mean I know I screwed up but this is almost too much. I think I got maybe 5 calls all day today. At least I still get my weekends off.

Maybe I will weed my garden again and try not to think about this weekend too much. let's just hope they don't find out about the call tracing I did. I'll lose my job for sure then.

Last night was terrible. Grace hated the dinner and David and her argued over it. She got up from the dinner table barely touching any food and then ran her finger over a table and shot me a disapproving look as some tiny specs of dust came up on her finger. She excused herself to the bathroom and then suggested I hire a housekeeper. Then she brought up my lack of attendance at the prayer circle. I wanted to clean her clock I was so vexed about her overall lack of tact in my house!

She told me that iin order to be marriage material I would have to get right with the lord, and get some hired help for my extra chores such as gardening, cooking, and cleaning, which I really like to do. Instead, she suggested equestrian lessons and tennis to fill up some extra time.

I told her I wasn't interested and she insisted that I come to Strokes Manor this weekend to experience them firsthand before I answered. The woman would not take no for an answer.

She then told David to get his woman under control when I commented that I enjoyed gardening, and how that was common folk activity, and she wouldn't have that in her family.

I really need to get to the spa to get my nails done before someone dies. I'm going to go listen to my Barry Manilow MP3's.

Tonight David and Grace are coming over for dinner. He only gave me 2 hours notice! >:( He is turning into a real bastard lately. Don't get me wrong, I love Grace, she is so awesome to me.
So I guess that he won't be able to get drunk tonight. Lol. lately, he is drinking as much as Ernest and I told him that today and he called me a meddling bitch and hung up on me. If he keeps this up I will tell him to hit the road.

I think I will make some salmon and rice with asparagus on the side.

Well I am home now. What a fiasco that was! David got drunk on the flight and nearly got us into trouble at the gate getting our luggage he was so boisterous. I am so pissed off at him. Why didn't he propose to me while we were in Vegas?

I just don't get him. I am really tired.

So I am going to go rest and clean my house and figure out how I am going to get out of seeing him a few days so he doesn't get suspicious.

One more day of hell and we go home. I am not sure what I will do with the next week or so I have left of suspension.

The Fremont district was awesome! There was a light show it was Shag, one of my fave artists, and I had my fortune read by a gypsy, and then I watched who I think were gang members doing spray paint art. I got a little hungry after that so I went over to the plaza to their buffet it was good and there was a lovely view of Fremont, and I got to see the light show again. The buffet was kind of expensive because of the light show, but well worth it.

David is back to playing craps and I get to entertain myself yet again. >:( At this point they are comping us drinks and giving us a complimentary nights stay at the hotel. I can't believe that he actually thinks that we can afford this!

I am going to call it an early night by calling in room service. I am going to order a bottle of champagne and watch cable tv until I pass out tonight. Our flight is early tomorrow. Thank god this is finally coming to an end!

Thank god there is only two more days of this horse shit. I am getting so sick to my stomach it is so hot in this damned place. There he is again betting on those damned horses. I am going over to the Flamingo for Roulette and slots.

Can he please ask me to marry him this decade please!!!!! It isn't like there is a lack of chapels in this area!!!

At 4pm I went over to check on him and he was passed out drunk in our bed at the hotel! WTF! I am hungry so I guess I will go to have some dinner. I am going to take the bus on the strip over to the Fremont district to see what is over there!

It's so hot and sticky here I can't imagine why anyone would actually choose to vacation here! I can't believe that David is actually interested in living here! It's all that he can talk about. David wanted to bet on the horses today, so we stayed in the hotel all day today while he sat there getting drunker by the hour, that bastard. I can't believe that he actually lost $500 gambling on those stupid horses on the big screen. It's about as interesting as football. God I hate this place.

Today we went back to the Flamingo for more craps >:( and another buffet. Oh joy. At least it's better than telling him the truth though. We also went for a drive to Red Rock and it was nothing but 105 degree weather and red dirt everywhere and the bushes were scratchy and he wanted to hike up this mountain and we got red dirt all over ourselves which ended up in the nice new rental car that we JUST paid for today!!!

It took us nearly an hour to get it out of the car!

I'm tired and bored. Off to sleep with me.

Today we went on the Rollercoaster at Nascar. I was pretty much terrified the whole ride. Then we went up to the top of the Stratosphere to get some dinner and drinks and on the way down I nearly barfed I was so drunk and scared. David thought it was hilarious. Then we went over to the Flamingo, where I got to sit around and watch him play craps all night! >:(

He didn't ask me to marry him again and I was pretty bored all day today.

We finally got checked into the MGM Grand so that we could see the lions. I feel so sorry for the lions being in captivity. We are going to the Bellagio tonight to drink champagne in front of the fountains, i hope that he asks me to marry him. Before that we went to WHITNEY HOUSTON AT THE FLAMINGO WOOO! It was great! We ate at the buffet as well. We are now back in the hotel about to nap.

Off I go.... tomorrow we are going to go on the roller coaster at Nascar, and I am nervous about going on that! He also wants to go to the top of the Stratosphere and I am afraid of heights so this should be interesting. Then he wants to learn how to play craps, and I prefer roulette and slots. >:(

We will see..

David got his bonus today and was able to request some vacation time afterall. We are going to go to Las Vegas tomorrow afternoon! I'll take my laptop so I can let you know what we are doing on occasion!

my car is fixed and I went down to the bank to refinance my mortgage, everything looks ok according to the bank, so no worries for me, things just sort of worked themselves out.

Off to pack for Vegas!

I got popped for the paternity tests today at work and got two weeks suspended without pay this time! OMG I don't know how I am going to pay my mortgage with this little snafu. I will have to take out a second mortgage for my brand new house. I only hope that I get approved for it. This could be really bad for me. I don't know what I am going to tell David this time.

He is in the garage tinkering with my car. Something to do with the alternator. Not only will my mortgage pmt possibly be late, but now I am going to have to lease a car to get around to top it off! Poor Noodles must get to the vet to have a check up on her little leg.

I think I am going to go downstairs and ask David if he wants to take a two week vacation.

I finally went back to work. My work load will be extremely heavy this week so I may not get to update much. Tonight David came over for dinner and brought a nice bottle of champagne to celebrate a huge project that he got at work that will give him a $5,000 monthly bonus! I am so happy for him. He deserves it, he has been working lots of hours.

We watched movies and ate popcorn tonight.

Off to bed I go, 5am comes early.

I got my garage organized, my garbage taken out, recycling to the curb, my dishes done, mowed my lawn, cleaned my house, and I even had time to trace a few of Lola's calls to Preston and found out that she has known that Preston senior was the father all along!

I'm not telling David because I know that would only upset him even further and so far, things are going really well for us. no need to rock the boat, so to speak.

I went home and watched crappy Lifetime movies. Nothing too exciting happening today.
